Kebbi Suspends 2 Royal Fathers Over Misconduct, Criminality

Two royal fathers of Fakai in Zuru emirate of Kebbi State , Alh. Hudu Dan Malan and Alh. Abubakar Ibrahim Ala’aje have been suspended by the state government following allegations of misconduct and criminal activity level against them.
As a result of the allegations against the two traditional rulers, governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the appointment of seven member committee to investigate all the allegations against them.

A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the state governor , Abubakar Muazu Dakingari and made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday said this is sequel to the queries issued to them by Emir of Zuru and suspension letters by their respective local government sole administrators at Fakai and Danko Wasagu.
The statement quoted the secretary to the state government, Alh. Babale Umar Yauri as saying that the allegations range from connivance with known criminals, kidnappers , cattle rustlers and armed robbers to involvement in fraud, cheating , dishonesty , rudeness to elders and illicit drugs use.
The seven member investigative committee is chaired by the former deputy governor and senior councilor in Argungu Emirate Council , Kundudan Kabi , Alh. Sani Aliyu Augie.
OFR while other members are Galadiman Yauri ,Sarkin Kudun Gwandu , Majidadin Zuru and the representatives of SSS and the Police.
