Following the destruction of an Auditorium which belonged to the
Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) last month, the Christians
over there are lamenting -saying the destruction was borne out of
religious motivation. Read what a concerned citizen wrote below;
I am creating to raise awareness on the destruction of the Auditorium
of the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) by the Zamfara
state government. The reason why I say it is religiously motivated is
because only two other buildings were demolished in Gusau and they are
the Dominican Catholic Church and the Anglican church. All church
buildings were not marked for demolition and were demolished, while
nearby buildings which have been marked for demolition for years were
left untouched.. After the demolition, the residents of the
neighbourhood started applauding. Does this country truly have freedom
of religion? And is the constituion still valid in the north?We have to
speak up or things could get much worse for christian corpers in the
north. Similar things are being experienced by brethren in Dutse.
