Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari has approved the appointment of Dr. Aminu Waziri as the new executive secretary of Katsina State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
According to a statement made available to newsmen, the appointment is part of measures to reposition government agencies and departments for effective service delivery in line with the restoration agenda of the APC government in the state.
The terse statement said the appointment was in recognition of Waziri’s outstanding quality and performance exhibited over the years in both public and private sectors.
Dr Waziri is coming with vast experience having had stint in both public and private sector where he was reputed to have contributed immensely to uplifting the lives of people.
The new SEMA boss was until his appointment, Director of Physical Planning Department of the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda in Zamfara State.
An alumnus of Kaduna Polytechnic where he bagged HND in estate management, the new SEMA boss has a PhD in construction management.
