His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kebbi state Sen Abubakar Atiku Bagudu today saturday 12th of August visited the Hajj camp to caution, pray and bid farewell to the first batch of pilgrims from Kebbi state.
He was received by the Chairman Pilgrims Board Alhaji Bala Sakaba. This year 4150 men and women from the state will visit the Holy Land, an increase of 900 from last year. The increase is largely due to the financial success recorded by farmers in the state which necessitated the Nigerian Hajj Commission to increase the seats allocated to the state.
The first flight operated by Max Air is expected to depart tonight Saturday 13th August 2017 from Sir Ahmadu Bello airport, Birnin Kebbi with pilgrims from Danko Wasagu and Yauri local government areas
