A special prayer session was held yesterday for President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura town, his birth place.
Daily Trust on Sunday gathered that different groups from the five local government areas of the emirate converged on the town’s Eid prayer ground.
The Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk, who led the session also directed all Islamic scholars in the emirate to intensify prayers for the president.
The emir maintained that the president needs prayers to enable him deliver on his campaign promises.
