The FCT Minister
Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has said that the Federal Capital Territory
is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
He stated this yesterday in Abuja while briefing newsmen on the scorecard of the administration in the last two years.
Malam Bello said a lot has happened in
the FCT between February of 2016 and now when he gave a rundown of his
observations of what he found on ground in the administration and the
city.
He said most of the promises he made to
the residents of the FCT have been fulfilled in line with the social
change agenda of Mr. President.
On infrastructure, the minister said successful milestones have been achieved particularly with the Abuja light rail system.
“By the grace of God, we are going to
start the movement of passengers towards the end of this year and then,
by first quarter of next year, we will commence full commercial
services,” he said.
