Today Air force parades fake recruitment agent in Abuja

The Nigerian Air Force has paraded a fake recruitment agent over an extortion scam that promised employment into the Nigeria Air Force and other security agencies.
Parading the suspect on Friday in Abuja, the spokesman of the Air Force Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, said the suspect was arrested in a sting operation after swindling about N595, 000 from his victims.
He said the Air Force acting on information arrested one member of the syndicate posing as a recruitment agent for the Air Force and other security agencies.

“On 24th February 2016, the Air Provost arrested one Musa Ibrahim Babangida in Abuja, Musa was arrested in company of another suspect, Usman Sakaba, whom he claimed works for the FCDA Abuja, but currently at large,” he explained.
He said several exhibits were recovered after a search of the suspect’s resident, which included a sample of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) they make their victims to sign while promising to get them the jobs.
Fielding questions from journalists, Musa Ibrahim Babangida confessed to the crimes, but insisted he was working for Usman Sakaba who introduced him to the scam.
