He was born on July 30, 1964. He studied Agricultural Science in Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 1989.
He joined the service of Sokoto State as Agric Officer II in 1991, and
rose through the ranks to become Substantive Director on GL16 effective
from July 1, 2015.
He has acquired tremendous experience in the agric sector having served the state meritoriously since his employment.
He has held various positions in the Ministry of Agriculture prominent among which was the Director of Produce and Pest Control before his recent deployment to the newly-established Commodity Board.
