The wife of the president, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday thanked all Nigerians for praying for her husband who is currently on a follow-up consultation with his doctors in London.
Mrs Buhari, who observed Eid-l-fitr prayer at the Guards Brigade Mambika Barracks Abuja, also thanked citizens for praying for the country. She also called on them to imbibe the spirit of love, compassion and unity which, she noted, are the basic lessons of Ramadan.
Her spokesman, Suleiman Haruna, quoted her as appealing to all Nigerians to show a true sense of patriotism to foster national cohesion. This, according to Mrs Buhari, will ensure that Nigeria attains the greatness for which it was destined.
