Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, on Monday stormed a mansion belonging to former Presidential Task Force
on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, who has been on the Agency’s wanted
list for about two years.
The whereabouts of the ex-Pension
Fund Chairman remains unknown after President Buhari on Monday ordered his sack
and opened investigations into the reinstatement of the federal civil service
without clearing his name.
According to reports, the said
mansion, located at No. 10 Hamisu Musa Road, Jabi, Federal Capital Territory,
FCT, and reportedly belonging to Maina, was surrounded by mobile policemen
attached to the EFCC.
The building was believed to have
been bought for $2m.
The whereabouts of the embattled
civil servant is not known.
