Kebbi State University of Science Aleiro to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Impact Africa I.D.C.I.P.S in Ghana


Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aleiro to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Impact Africa International Debate Championship and Intercontinental Public Speaking contest.

The students left the country today Thursday, 21st July 2016 for Tamale, Northern Ghana, the venue of this year's competition. The Nigerian contestants will meet their counterparts from the other African continent such as Zimbabwe, Liberia, Gambia and Ghana itself among several other countries. It will be recalled, that the KSUSTA students had gallantly contested for Nigeria National Debate Championship at Rivers State in November 2015and emerged victorious which qualified them to represent the country at the continental level in Ghana. The event is scheduled to commence on 24th July and ends on 31st July 2016. The Nigerian contingent comprising the immediate past Ameer of KSUSTA Bashar Aliyu Buhari, Jedidah Zarah Paul, Bawa Dogara among others are being led by a lecturer in the university's Department of General Studies Mr K.B. Owosu.
