The Kaduna State Government has announced the appointment of a new management for the Kaduna State Water Corporation, and the dissolution of the board of the corporation
“The governor of Kaduna State has approved the appointment of Engineer Aliyu Ibn Shehu as the Managing Director/CEO of the Kaduna State Water Corporation. The governor also approved the appointment of Mr. Silas Agai Liman as Deputy Managing Director of the corporation.
“In addition to approving the new top management, the government has also announced the dissolution of the board of the Kaduna State Water Corporation. The board is to handover to the Commissioner of Water Resources who will exercise the functions of the board until it is reconstituted. The government wishes to thank members of the erstwhile board for their services.
“Two senior staff of the corporation have also been reinstated. They are Engineer Binta Yakubu Aliyu and Mr. Eutycus John.
“The Commissioner of Water Resources will shortly announce a programme to ensure the successful and transparent conclusion of the recruitment exercise for the Kaduna State Water Corporation.
“This programme will give every shortlisted applicant a fair chance to compete on merit for the advertised positions. Therefore, the interview scheduled for 21st October 2017 has been cancelled. New interview dates and processes to conclude the recruitment will be announced by the Commissioner of Water Resources.”
