Gov Jibrilla Bindow commiserates with Gov Lalong:

Adamawa state government has expressed its willingness to contribute to a peaceful coexistence among the various tribes in Plateau state.
Governor of Adamawa state, Sen Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, who stated this when he led state government delegation to console the government and people of Plateau, over the recent killings in the state, explained that there cannot be meaningful development without peace and harmony.
The governor said he will collaborate with the Lamido Adamawa, who is the leader of Tapital Pulaku worldwide, to hold consultations with all Fulani residing in Miango, the community that was attacked.
He however said, "this would be possible only after investigation into the matter have been concluded, to enable government establish those responsible for the attacks".

In his opening remark, Chief of Staff to Adamawa state Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta, earlier said that the purpose of the visit was to, "condole the Governor of Plateau state for the demise of his younger brother as well as people of Plateau state over the recent killings in Miango".
He said death is painful but inevitable and expressed delight over the warm reception accorded the delegation from Adamawa state.
Responding, Pleteau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, appreciated the concern of the government and people of Adamawa state and pointed out that Plateau has enjoined peace in the last two years.
He stressed government's commitment to the restoration of peace for which the state is known for.
