NITDA leads Nigeria to GITEX 2017 at the Dubai world Trade Centre, United Arab Emirate (UAE)


To showcase Nigeria’s Innovation, engage with IT professionals, attract Foreign Direct Investments and to woo international reputable IT companies to domesticate their products/services in Nigeria, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is coordinating the Nation’s outing at this year’s Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) week taking place at the Dubai world Trade Centre, United Arab Emirate (UAE).

The Agency also sponsored 10 Nigerian innovators whom will be competing with other Startups from over 65 Countries for the $130,000 USD at the GITEX Global Startup Movement - a comprehensive and dynamic technology platform that promotes global knowledge exchange and fosters economic growth.

Information Technology cannot be developed in Silos, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) led Nigeria to the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) so as to forge a strategic partnership with other Nations and showcase her innovations to the World.

This assertion was made by the Director General of NITDA, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS when being interviewed by journalists at the ongoing 37th GITEX technology week at Dubai with the theme “ RE- IMAGINING REALITIES”.

The event over the years has been an attraction point for global Tech pioneers, futurists, business leaders and IT professionals aiming to witness the world’s most advanced technology and drive digital transformation.
