FG delegation visit victim of dalori attack

A Federal Government delegation was in Borno State yesterday to condole the government and people of the state over last week’s attack on three villages where over 85 persons were killed by Boko Haram militants.
The delegation led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF),Mr. Babachir David Lawal, said they were in the state on the instruction of President Muhammadu Buhari to assess the situation and commiserate with the government and people, promising that adequate steps were being taken to avert future occurrence.

The SGF said while addressing the people of Dalori that the government would soon render assistance to the victims, saying they should not relocate from their homes as security was being enhanced.
The delegation which included the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hajiya Khadijat Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Minister of State for Power Alhaji Babashehuri Mustafa and their education counterpart also visited victims of the attacks at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and the state Specialist Hospital.
