Senate Committee Chairman on Foreign and Domestic Debts, Senator Shehu Sani on Friday donated building materials worth hundreds of thousands to Kasuwar Bici traders who had their goods and stalls destroyed by a fire outbreak that recently consumed part of the metropolitan market.
Part of the Kasuwar Bici market was razed down by fire on January 17, 2016 leaving more than 20 traders stranded with no place to sell.
But Sani donated 50 bags of cement, 20 roofing sheets, logs of woods and a hundred thousand naira cash as relief materials to the victims.
The Senator said he was deeply concerned about the need for the traders to rebuild their stalls and resumed trading immediately.
