His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR yesterday also inspected pipe laying at Zaria Road. The pipes will be a total length of 27 kilometres, from Challawa to Hadejia road. So far, 10KM have already been layed in the past two weeks and work is ongoing morning and night till its completed.
The project, which was an inherited one from previous administration, when completed will provide 5 local governments with clean water most of which have never been connected in the past. This will certainly bring an end to the lingering water shortage crises being experienced within this agfected areas the state.
