Former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida yesterday celebrated his birthday with special prayers for attaining the 75th birthday, even as close associates and friends described him as arare patriotic and determined leader.The Chief Imam of Minna, Shiek Isah Fari, led other Islamic scholars within and outside the state to offer the special prayers for him and prayed that Allah will continue to grant him more years and goodhealth.In the same vein, the governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, led members of the state executive council to celebrate with the elder statesman, whom he described as a father to all.Former head of state, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar, Gen Halilu Akilu, and Francis Ogboru, in separate interviews, described Gen Babangida as a generous, patriotic, selfless and determine leader.General Abdulsalami, who was also part of the dignitaries, who visited him , stated that in 75 years they had come a long way, and prayed Allah to grant many years ahead.Others thanked Allah SWT for granting Gen Babangida the health to attain 75 years
