The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state, Babangida Abdullahi, disclosed this at a press briefing on Tuesday.
Abdullahi said the businessman was abducted on June 16 in presence of his wife and three children.
The NSCDC commandant said the kidnappers have demanded N500,000 ransom.
”The command is trying to secure the release of the victim in synergy with other security agencies.
” We will not relent in our efforts until the victim regains his freedom and is reunited with his family.”
