Nigerian Police Arrest 2 Deadly Kidnappers Terrorizing Abuja-Kaduna and Jere-Kagarko Highway


Two suspected kidnappers said to be on the wanted list of the police are now cooling down their heels in the net of Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris’ Intelligence Response Team(IRT), having been arrested early in the week.
The suspects are: Adamu Lawan, 30, and 25 year-old Aminu Lawan.

INSIDEAREWA gathered the duo belong to a deadly kidnapping gang, that operates around Jere/Katari axis of the Abuja-Kaduna Express Way and Jere-Kagarko Road in Kaduna State.
The IRT, led by Abba Kyari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), following the arrest and recovered of two AK47 rifles from the gang.
Further investigation revealed that on the 17th December, 2017, at about 9.30 pm, the IRT operatives attached to Operation Absolute Sanity, along Abuja-Kaduna expressway, had an exchange with the two alleged kidnappers described as deadly and on the wanted list of the police.
