Troops arrest suspected Boko Haram terrorists, kidnappers


​TROOPS of forward operation base, FIKA, on routine patrol early Sunday morning arrested a suspected fleeing Boko Haram terrorist named Bala Ibrahim, aged 30years at FIKA. Director Army public relations, Brigadier General S K Usman, said that preliminary investigation shows that the suspect is an indigene of bulabulin village FIKA local government area Yobe State and is furtherbeing interrogated.

According to him in another development troops deployed at forward operation base YUGA on blocking position following also Sunday morning following a tip off from well meaning individuals ambushed and arrested four suspected kidnappers at Mundu village.

The army spokesman gave the names of the suspected kidnappers as Yahaya Auta,25, Salisu Lawal, 20, Umar Mohammed, 18,and Samaila Abubakar. He said that they were found to be in possession of one locally made six loader single barrel gun one empty cartridge, two matches a knife, two mobile telephone handsets, two packets of tramol tablets and N360 while on their way to commit crime and are currently being further investigated.
