Kogi launches online directory for farmers

The Kogi state Agricultural Development Project (ADP) has launched  an online directory for farmers in the state.
The Managing Director, ADP, Mr Oyisi Okatahi, noted that the directory would enable farmers benefit from Kogi ADP agricultural extension services.
He urged farmers in the state to create listing on the agency’s directory portal, http://farmers.kogiadp.com/, noting that the directory would help farmers showcase their products to a wider market.

Okatahi added that the organisation had concluded plans to put up its assets for lease and training purposes.
He stated that a rice mill factory, maize sheller, feed mill factory and cassava processing machines are available for lease at the Kogi ADP headquarters in Lokoja.
Other assets available for lease in different locations across the state include sesame factory, rice planter machine, farm service centres and warehouses.
He restated Kogi ADP’s commitment to making Kogi the foremost agricultural state in Nigeria in line with Gov. Yahaya Bello’s vision for the state.
Kogi ADP is empowered by the Edict 12 of 1991 of Kogi State to develop agriculture in the state, source funding and develop infrastructure.
