Governor Kashim Shettima received in audience, the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib.
He was accompanied by the World Health Representative in Nigeria (WHO), Dr. Wondimagegnehu Alemu, Michael Galway of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle USA, Alhaji Ahmed Iya of the Dangote Foundation, WHO Emergency Manager, North East, Dr. Collins Owilli, and Dr. Ahmad Isah Muhammad of WHO Borno state.
Also present was the Borno State Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Haruna Mshelia.
They were in Borno to cross pollinate ideas with the Government of Borno State on how to really fast track the polio eradication exercise.
