Engr. Muhammad Lawal Mai Doki, Chairman of Zakat and Endowment Committe in Sokoto was kidnapped yesterday, October 19th, around 9pm within the Sokoto metropolis.Engr. Mai-Doki is also the Project Manager Bakalori Irrigation Scheme of the Rima River Basin Development Authority. All efforts made towards establishing contact with his abductors has proved abortive.
