Masari appoints principal of Buhari’s former school as SUBEB scribe

The Principal of Government College Katsina who was suspended by the former PDP government for releasing the result sheet of President Muhammadu Buhari has been appointed secretary of the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) Isyaku Bello was entangled in serious power play during the presidential election between the APC and the PDP over Buhari’s certificate. Until his appointment, Bello was the principal of the school. A statement from the office of the Secretary to State Government said his appointment was in compliance with Section 18(1)&(2)of Law No 4 of 2005.Ten special advisers appointed by the governor include the acting chairman of the APC, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, Dr Badamasi Lawal Charanci, Dr Rabe Nasi, Usman Bala Zango and Abdullahi Imam Musawa. Others are Farouk Jobe, Ibrahim Khalil, Hajia Binta Abba, Dr Abba Y. Abdullahi and Dr Lawal Usman Bagiwa. All the appointments are with immediate effect.
