Katsina state government says it has procures over 15, 000 tons of government subsidized fertilizer in one week for distribution to farmers across the state. The statement is made know by the senior special assistant to Governor Aminu Bello Masari on New Media Malam Abdulhadi Ahmad Bawa on Thursday.
According to him, Masari led administration has already begun its preparation ahead of this year’s raining season farming activities, as part of the government’s effort to transform agriculture in Katsina state.
He added that early preparation for this year’s season is essential in other to avoid the mistakes witnessed during previous farming season.
The special assistant however commended the Masari led administration especially in fulfilling campaign promises in transforming agriculture in Katsina state.
He however, assured equity in distribution process and government readiness to assist farmers in state.
