A joint team of security operatives attached to the Operation Yaki security outfit in Kaduna State, has recovered over 200 cows and sheep from suspected rustlers in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state.
The team comprises of operatives from the Police, Army, Air Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The Coordinator of the security outfit, Yakubu Yusuf, paraded the recovered animals before reporters on Saturday in Kaduna State, north-west Nigeria.

Mr Yusuf said the animals were recovered during a raid at a forest in Buruku village, following intelligence report from patriotic residents concerning the activities of suspected rustlers in the area.
He added that further investigation revealed that the animals were stolen from Kano and Niger states by the suspects, and brought down to Kaduna through the bush with the intention of selling them off.
The Coordinator assured the public that his men will not relent in the war against cattle rustling, banditry and other criminal activities across the state.
