A statement by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Lydia Legbu, in Minna, on Tuesday, said the royal father  made the commendation when the Registrar of the university, Mrs. Victoria Kolo, paid him a courtesy vivit.
She was accompanied by members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2017 Business Meeting of the Association of Registrars of Nigerian Universities (ARNU) on the visit.
She said that the visit was  to brief the traditional ruler about the upcoming event.
The Etsu Nupe lauded the university for its desire to make the institution a better place.
He  assured the registrar of his support and cooperation and prayed for a successful hosting of the event.
Earlier, the registrar said the association always rotated its meetings among its members.
