Kano Govt signs MoU with INSPUR Group for establishment of grains management, safe city, advance tax information system


Kano State Government has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with INSPUR Group for establishment of a number of agreements which include development of grains management, safe city, advance tax information system and data management.
Alhaji Usman Alhaji, Secretary to the State Government signed on behalf of the state government while Mr Peter Huang the Vice President of INSPUR signed on behalf of the company, in the presence of His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR and the company's top management.

Governor Ganduje stated that the purpose of the visit to INSPUR is to strengthen the states capacity in some key areas like revenue generation, agricultural sector particularly grans management with Kano having the biggest grains market in West Africa Dawanau Market and security through the implementation of the safe city system among others.
INSPUR Group is a 70yr old firm and one of the biggest IT company in the world. The company's most important product is server hardware, but it also acts as a software developer and an outsourcing recipient for both the United States of America and Japan among others.
The firm's IT solutions are several, among which are E-Government, E-education, Smart Solution and E-taxation. It already has a business cooperation with MTN, Airtel, Starcomms for over 10yrs and is also a consultant for the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Addionally, Kano State University of Science & Technology will soon sign an MoU with INSPUR for smart computer in the university, and with the signing of today's MoU Kano stands to benefit alot from the rich expertise of INSPUR and its solutions.
