Ali Nuhu tasks Censors’ Board on nudity in Nollywood

Talented Kannywood cum Nollywood star, Ali Nuhu, has expressed his thoughts on the role of the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, in addressing piracy and nudity in the movie industry.

In a recent chat with newsmen, he said nudity has become a big issue in the Nigerian film industry, that even from the posters, indecent exposures are seen yet children watch these films.
According to the actor, “There are no quality movies where you have such things but you see the industry is dissected in its own way.
He went further to say that a lot of people imitate actors and actresses in so many ways, even down to copying their dress style.
“The way people dress; they look at what actors wear in movies and they say they want to copy from them so automatically even little kids will tell you I have seen this person praying in this film I want to pray so if that person makes love in that film they will tell like to make love because they want to have a taste of what that person has done.
“Honestly, nudity is a thing of worry; the Censors Board should do something about it,” he quipped.
