WAEC Kaduna office gutted by fire



 Two offices at the West Africa Examination (WAEC), Kawo, Kaduna was gutted by fire in the early hours of Tuesday.
Eyewitness told the Nigerian Tribune that the administrative block was the only part of the building affected.
According to him, ‘we learnt that, the fire started around 9:20 am today Tuesday.
It was gathered that the fire had destroyed official documents and personal effects in the two affected offices.
Investigation revealed that the fire was put off as a result of the timely intervention by the fire units of the National Teachers Institute (NTI) Kaduna office, Dialogue Computers unit and the Army.
At the time of filling in this report, the remote of fire outbreak could not be ascertained.
However, sources revealed that, the Director of WAEC Kaduna office had set up a committee to find out the remote causes of the fire incident.
