NITDA, EFCC Strengthen Ties To Safeguard Nigeria’s It Investments

As Nigeria appropriates Forty-Two Billion, Five Hundred and Sixty Million, Nine Hundred and Forty-Five Thousand, One Hundred and Ninety-One Naira (42,560,945,191.00) on IT projects for the year 2017, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) strengthen ties to ensure the Nation reaps value for money in her investments.

This position was reached when the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr Ibrahim Mustafa Magu led his management Staff to a working visit at the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
The Director General of NITDA, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FBCS urged the commission not to relent in its effort to free Nigeria from corruption, adding that “the fight against corruption is an investment that will be of benefit to our future generations.”
Dr Pantami stated that corruption is the greatest challenge Africa is facing and not poverty.
Earlier, Magu in his remarks, solicited for collaboration with the Agency to tackle the menace of cybercrime, internet fraud and advance fee fraud.
The EFCC’s boss asserted that every Nigerian is a stakeholder in the fight against corruption.
